WHAT TO EXPECT
A typical Sofwave session takes 30–45 minutes. Most patients feel a mild warm sensation during treatment. While an immediate skin-tightening effect may be noticed, full results develop gradually over 8–12 weeks as new collagen forms. Many patients require only one treatment per year.

PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
• No special preparation is needed—arrive with or without makeup. Your provider will cleanse the area before treatment.
• Avoid scheduling major events or photo sessions for the same day, as mild redness or swelling can occur temporarily.
• Inform your provider if you have metal implants, pacemakers, or recent cosmetic treatments in the area.
• Avoid injectables or laser treatments on the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before your Sofwave appointment.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
• No downtime is required; you may return to your normal routine immediately.
• Mild redness, swelling, or warmth may occur and usually resolves within a few hours.
• Avoid applying heavy makeup or skincare products for 24 hours if your skin feels sensitive.
• Stay well-hydrated and maintain a consistent skincare routine to support collagen production.
• Avoid other energy-based or invasive treatments (microneedling, laser, RF) in the treated area for 1–2 weeks unless directed by your provider.
• Results develop gradually over 8–12 weeks as your body builds new collagen.
