PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

To prepare your skin and ensure optimal results:

• Schedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to a special event.
• Redness and sensitivity may be apparent following treatment.
• Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores; an antiviral may be prescribed.
• Avoid treatment if you have an active rash or irritation in the area.
• Avoid Accutane for at least 6 months prior to treatment.
• Avoid laser procedures and/or waxing for the past 7 days.
• Discontinue topical retinoids at least 24 hours prior to reduce sensitivity.
• If pregnant, receive clearance from your OB/GYN before treatment.

POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS

After your Caroline Special Facial, follow these steps to support healing and enhance results:

• Redness or sensitivity may last up to 24 hours.
• Do not pick, scratch, or rub the treated skin.
• Avoid strenuous exercise or excessive sweating for 24 hours.
• Avoid sun tanning and prolonged direct sunlight exposure.
• If exposed to the sun, use broad spectrum SPF 30+ and reapply every 2 hours.
• Follow up with repeat treatments in 4–6 weeks for acne, scars, hyperpigmentation, or age management.
• Best results are achieved with a series of 4–6 treatments.
